I have been in the furniture and bedding industry for over17 years. I started working part-time when my children were young which eventually became full-time as they grew up. After proving myself I became manager of a large bed store company and have never looked back.

I then was offered another management position at Bedtraders. It was a store that I knew I could put my own stamp on it. Roger who was the owner and I got along really well, so we started throwing ideas around and the next thing we became full business partners.

I love what I do “its like I’ve got springs in my blood” (ha,ha). Roger and I grew the business from one extreme to another – but the problem is that I am still working and he has since retired!!!! (Something’s wrong 'ere Roger!).

We are an independent store and not part of any franchise. I pride myself on giving excellent service and choice. I know we can’t please everyone but we sure go out of our way trying!  From when you walk into the store right until you receive your bed or furniture into your home, we want you to be happy.
